Our tour begins in the city of Almaty, the first capital of independent Kazakhstan, a city in which ancient history and Turkic traditions intertwined, a city filled with light and clean air, many-sided and so unique. We will have a unique opportunity to visit the sights of the city and its environs, plunge into the freshness of the parks and walk along the large and interesting avenues of the city. In continuation of our tour, we will go to the capital of the republic, the city of Nur-Sultan. The city received its name quite recently, on March 23, 2019, up to this point the city was called Astana. The modern and progressive capital is located almost in the very center of Kazakhstan, being its heart and pride!

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Almaty
Check in the hotel. Rest

Day 2: Almaty
Morning departure from the hotel for a sightseeing tour of the city of Almaty. The first and south capital of Kazakhstan, a beautiful and modern city. Today we will visit the Republic Square, Central Museum of Almaty. After lunch, departure to the park 28 Panfilov. Walk through the park, visit the Cathedral, Museum of Musical Instruments. Visit the Central Mosque and Green Bazaar. In the afternoon, visit “Kok-Tobe” hill. Overnight in the hotel


Day 3: Almaty - Charyn Canyon - Almaty
Journey to the canyon of the Charyn River, 200 km from Almaty. The road to the Valley of Castles lies through the Sogetka Valley, which is located between the Ketmen and Ulken-Bogetta mountain ranges. Poets call this place “workshop of the sculptor Wind”, locals call it one of the most exotic holiday destinations in our area, lovers of water rafting - a paradise for extreme.
The canyon is a unique monument of nature, where, under the influence of thousands of years of weathering of sedimentary rocks, peculiar relief forms have formed - remnants in the form of isolated mountains, pillars, giant columns, towers, and chapels. The length of the canyon is 150 km, the Valley of castles is more than 2 km, the depth is up to 200 meters. There is absolutely no soil cover, remnants of the vegetation. At the bottom of the canyon everywhere traces of temporary streams. There are bushes of yellow acacia, tamarisk, saxaul, turanga and ephedra. Come back to the city after the tour. Overnight in the hotel.


Day 4: Almaty - Lake Issyk - Almaty - Nur-Sultan
Only 60 km from Almaty, near the small town of Issyk, lurked one of the most picturesque lakes in the Trans-Ili Alatau. Height above sea level - 1756 meters.
The lake was formed about 8-10 thousand years ago as a result of a great mountain collapse, which created a natural dam about 300 meters high. For lovers of history, this place is also interesting: here you can visit the Issyk kurgan of the 4th-5th centuries BC and the place where the Saka warrior was found, dressed in armor and gold clothes, which later became the symbol of Kazakhstan.
After lunch, return to Almaty. Transfer to the station. The night train leaves Almaty at 19:00 and arrives in Nur-Sultan the next morning at 07:35. Night on the train.


Day 5: Nur-Sultan
Arrival to Nur-Sultan. Hotel accommodation. Breakfast.
City tour of Nur-Sultan. We will visit the Historical Center of Nur-Sultan, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Administrative Complex "Emerald Quarter", Nurzhol Boulevard (formerly Water-Green Boulevard), the Residence of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Ak Orda", the House of Ministries, the Parliament, the Independence Palace, the Triumphal Arch, Hazret Sultan Mosque, the Palace of Creativity "Shabyt", the National Museum, the Baiterek monument and other interesting objects of the capital.
Overnight in the hotel.


Day 6:
Nur-Sultan - Almaty
Today we walk through the Akbulak district. After lunch, we will visit the Palace of Peace and Harmony, the Oceanarium of the entertainment center "Duman", which today is the first and so far the only one in the CIS. Free time. Transfer to the station. Night train to Almaty, departing at 19:30. Overnight in the hotel


Day 7: Almaty
Arrival in Almaty.
