Residence permit for foreigners in Uzbekistan

Foreign citizens of 109 countries will be able to obtain a residence permit in Uzbekistan in the case of the acquisition of real estate.
In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On additional measures for the accelerated development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan" foreign residents of 109 countries can get a residence permit in Uzbekistan when purchasing real estate.
Obtaining a residence permit is granted in case of purchase of real estate:
In Tashkent and the Tashkent region in an amount equivalent to at least 400 thousand US dollars;
In Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana and Khorezm regions - not less than 200 thousand dollars;
In Karakalpakstan and other regions of Uzbekistan - no less than 100 thousand dollars.
