
Visa free regime for 22 countries will be introduced in Uzbekistan

In the near future, the government of Uzbekistan plans to replenish the list of countries for a visa-free visit to Uzbekistan.
Ulugbek Kasimhodzhaev Acting as First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Tourism, said at a press conference on December 20, 2018, that the draft document on visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of 22 more countries. This project is discussed in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Remind that today the visa-free regime is established for citizens of 18 countries.
For citizens of the CIS countries, including Russia and Georgia, a bilateral visa-free regime has been established.
In February 10, 2018, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree introducing a visa-free regime for citizens of Israel, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan.
In March 2018, Tajikistan was added to the list, and in October 2018 - France.
